Hey, The trip is getting pretty close! YAY, so I thought that it would be a good time to talk food, YUM!  It would be nice to know what everybody was planning on doing for dinner, so we don't duplicate anything.  Also we were trying to figure out what to do for lunches and breakfast.  I was thinking each family could bring a box of their favorite cereal (that is assuming you only go through one box a week) and then we could all share cereal through out the week.  Also we need to decide what to do for lunches.  I just don't want mom and dad to get stuck buying everybodys food for the trip.  Let me know what you think!

Thanks and love ya lots!

final shirt

Here is the final shirt! I wish it was bigger so you could see...I got the sloth, the people hiking to the top, the fat girl made from the mountain... and me dead on the trail! hope you are as excited as I am :)

Time to Vote for your Favorite Shirt!

Ok so here are your options. Note that two shirts have images on both sides and two have images only on the front. Like mentioned before, the one for the kids could be done just on the front no matter which one is chosen. Also, the Woodbury 2010 text would be optional (ie those who want it can have it and those who don't we will leave it out) and other things can be changed as well if you think it would look better. After the shirt is chosen, we will figure out color options.

Everybody should vote for their top TWO favorite shirts in order of your favorite (ie your favorite first, then your second favorite). Thanks!
PS. EVERYONE needs to vote TODAY!!!!!

half dome it is!!! SECOND VOTE

First of all, thank you to all who voted, and sorry megan, maybe next time.
So half dome it is... you have 2 choices now. Please give us your opinions, we want all to be happy, but please don't be too brutal we have spent a LOT of time making these. We are going to try to stay under 12 dollars a shirt, but there are some problems with our designs that may make it more than originally thought, but again we will try to stay under $12.
Here are your two choices (both are not final however we still have room to work with).
The first on is basically a "copy" from the red t-shirt dad found. Very simple and classy looking. It is a figure ground with a circle (probably black or white)with the color of the T-shirt showing through to make halfdome. We are thinking about maybe also putting some trees in to make it complete. It will say something like Yosemite, or Solid like a Rock(thanks dad).
Pro's- we can choose any color shirt we want, everyone can ever choose a different color shirt.
Cons- the darker the shirt we may have to spend more money for the white to show up nicley on the t-shirt.

Shirt Number two -this one is a little more unique, and kinda abstract...kinda. This is a "view" from glacier point, with 2 waterfalls in it as well. This one we will do the picture on the back of the shirt with just a pocket sized half dome on the front of the shirt, again we will probably have the saying solid like a rock and Yosemite on the shirt.
Pro's- a little funcky, unique, something no one will have.
Con's- it will also cost more to print on both sides. One solution we thought of was to have the children's shirts be printed on just one side and the adult on both.

Voting time. I NEED your vote (Alan, mandye, whitney, kirsten!) and give us your opinion of what you think would make it better, but be aware that just because you suggest putting a sloth at the bottom in a hammock does not mean that that will happen (besides there aren't sloths in Yosemite!)
THANKS and love you all!
